Nike KD7 "All–Star" / the Nike KD7 "Black History Month"

When Kevin Durant hits the hardwood this February for the 2015 NBA All-Star Weekend in New York City, the reigning league MVP will lace up a special edition of his signature Nike KD7. Decked out in a platinum upper with a contrasting white midsole and icy rubber outsole, the “All-Star” edition of the KD7 is highlighted by a reflective Swoosh at the toe while pink and purple gradients hit the heel counter, midfoot strap and medial branding. Look for the KD7 “All-Star” to drop February 13 for $170 USD and stay tuned for a look at the entirety of Nike Basketball’s releases for this year’s All-Star festivities in the Big Apple.

Having delivered a collection of “closer looks” at individual models within Nike’s commemorative Black History Month range, we now examine the details of the Nike KD7 rendition. The special BHM print adorns the Swoosh, Hyperposite heel and sock liner, keeping the simple black and white colorway interesting with the eye catching print. The predominantly black toebox transitions into a white heel, with a translucent outsole to complete and complement the shoe. The entire Nike BHM collection is available now at Nike.com and at select stockists worldwide.
