Kanye West (@KanyeWest) – Ryan Seacrest Interview / Kanye West To Live Stream adidas Yeezy 750 Boost Launch In Over 40 Theaters

Kanye West decided to call up Ryan Seacrest for an interview. Kanye talked about Beck winning Album of The Year, why he almost crashed the staged. Kanye also said he doesn’t believe Beck was personally offended by his actions and that his only reason for going up on that stage was to fight for “artistry” and what he felt was right.
“I felt that even though the Grammys some times gives awards to people who you wouldn’t think should win in the category, as a respect to artists, we mention the other artist’s name in our speech. And that was the point I was making about it. There’s like many of times I gave other people my award, literally made them come up onstage. Maroon 5, when they won best new artist, [Adam Levine] mentioned me because it was the College Dropout and [it had] 10 nominations and all that.”
Kanye: “I might be slightly more angst than Paul McCartney. And remember the last time when Paul had somebody really angst working with them.
Radio Host: That was John Lennon
Kanye: “Hey America, I’m not comparing myself to John Lennon I’m just saying I’m a big angst like John Lennon.”

Kanye credit Paul’s energy and vibes as the magic that made this collaboration so special. “Rihanna heard it and literally she was not going to be satisfied until she had this record,” “Ye continues. “I gave her this song and the next day I woke up on the Grammys.”
“We’re not only going show this presentation 10 times over the next 2 days,” says Kanye. We’re going to stream the presentations to 40 locations across the globe… Johannesburg, Melbourne, Sydney, Atlanta, Chicago, etc.”
“I want to apologize to all the kids and parents who can’t get them currently because there’s only 9,000, also because they are $350. I just want to make sure we keep it safe because I heard about kids getting hurt in sneaker culture in the past. And I just want everyone to be safe and be patient. Eventually, everyone who wants to get Yeezy’s will be able to get them.

It took a moment to get here, but this weekend will finally see Kanye West’s long-awaited adidas Originals collaboration come to life.
