Stikeleather Debut Collection at Liberty Fairs Las Vegas / Perry Ellis 2015 Fall Lookbook / Burberry Launches Menswear Collection for Barneys New York

Los Angeles label Stikeleather debuts its latest collection that effectively blurs the line between streetwear and sportswear. The drop focuses on minimalist style lines and a dark aesthetic evidenced in pieces like the slim cut shirts, basic T-shirts and lightweight outerwear. A notable feature is the magnetic closure used in lieu of buttons and zippers which works to tear down tradition and acts as an element of increased functionality and durability. With a sneak peek of the collection set to premier at Liberty Fairs in Las Vegas on February 16, you can forgo the wait and check out the lookbook above right now.

For Perry Ellis‘ Fall 2015 collection, which will debut on February 12 during New York Fashion Week, Creative Director Michael Maccari navigates the origins of sportswear and its workwear roots. Inspired by the proportions and minimalist styling of utilitarianism, Maccari presents a range that looks both functional and luxurious. In his second collection for Perry Ellis, the experienced designer retools the familiar icons of workwear, proposing modern takes on boiler suits, technical parkas, and the laborer jacket, complemented by slim, “body-conscious” silhouettes. Maccari also experimented with different materials for this collection, including ribbed and paperweight leathers, bonded fabrics, neoprene and technical wools. As “the familiar shifts and transitions into something new,” enjoy our exclusive sneak peek at Perry Ellis’ 2015 fall range to release later this year.

Burberry have collaborated with luxury specialty retailer Barneys New York on their first men’s capsule collection, inspired by the Burberry Prorsum Menswear collection for Spring/Summer 2015. The range is comprised of 40 ready-to-wear styles and accessories, including the brand’s iconic outerwear such as the trench coat, field jacket and biker jacket. As an added bonus, the pieces will be promoted through an Instagram initiative featuring British musician George Barnett. Look for the Burberry for Barneys New York collection exclusively on Barneys’ website and at its flagships in New York and Beverly Hills.
