Autodromo Group B Watch Influenced by 1980s Rally Racing
Autodromo is a brand that is heavily influenced by auto-culture. The Group B watch is one that takes aesthetic lead from the Group B era which spans 1982-1986 and combines technical excellence with futuristic, exotic materials all enclosed in a bi-metallic case. Constructed from Titanium, the watch is the lightest Group B piece ever created, weighing approximately 10 nickels (52 grams). The watch is encased in a hand-crafted aluminium box and comes with two nylon straps that were inspired by racing harnesses. The Autodromo Group B wristwatch successfully captures high-tech design aesthetics as they were in the 1980′s. Retailing for $925 USD, you can pick one up via Autodromo’s official site.

To commemorate the release of its tonal grey boot collection, Timberland has teamed up with retailer 424 on Fairfax for an exclusive sweatshirt that complements the new footwear range. The French Terry garment is rendered in a sleek grey colorway and features the iconic tree logo in 3M coupled with 424 branding at the back. According to the boutique’s co-owner Guillermo Andrade, the inspiration behind this collaborative piece was a simple Timberland sweatshirt he had when he was a kid, which was one of his most prized possessions. “It was my one of my favorite clothing items,” he revealed in a press release. “No matter what I’ve been to aesthetically, Timberlands have always been a part of that.” Sadly the Timberland x 424 on Fairfax 3M Sweatshirt will be and friends and family release, so it won’t be available to the public. However, the grey colorways of Timberland’s classic 6-inch boot, roll-top boot, field boot, Euro dub and Eurohiker are now available for purchase from the brand’s webstore.
