Nike shox tl speed red metallic silver release info shoes sneakers 2003 comeback nostalgia
After landing in the spotlight in the COMME des GARÇONS’s show at Paris Fashion Week, the cult classic 2003 Nike Shox is making its way back in 2019. One of the first colorways for the 2019 Nike Shox TL is the new ”Speed Red/Metallic Silver”.
Supported by the Shox TL’s signature cushioning and sole, the design combines both a mesh upper and hardshell overlays, creating a layered and textured aesthetic. Predominantly in red, the new colorway is complimented by “Metallic Silver” accents found on its swoosh logos, lace loops, heel counters, and midsole plating, giving the pair a nostalgic yet futuristic look.
The Nike Shox TL “Speed Red/Metallic Silver” is now available, retailing at $170 USD at selected Nike retailers, including KITH.
Ronnie Fieg KITH adidas feet you wear FYW S 97 Salvation Teaser Release Information Drop First Look Green White Freddie Logo Neon Fluorescent Yellow Consortium
Ronnie Fieg has teased an upcoming adidas Consortium designed by the KITH founder himself, executing a new look for the FYW S-97 – a favorite silhouette for the designer.
The adidas Feet You Wear Salvation 97 was recently reintroduced to the Three Stripes’ roster, seeing a streamlined retro of the original ’90s sneaker. The adidas Equipment model is fitted with torsion technology support, a thick padded tongue and a lacing system that harks back to the archives. Sitting atop a chunky sole unit housing the iconic “Freddy Foot” logo, the adidas FYW S-97 was a trip down memory lane for many Three Stripes purists.
Fieg’s collaboration is a strong one, picking a shoe that hasn’t quite touched the hearts of the masses just yet. Sporting a classic tennis-themed colorway that sees a white upper, “Tennis” green inners and detailing on the Equipment logo, eyelets and sole blocks, and a hit of fluorescent yellow on the central eyestay, the collaboration delivers a stellar follow up on the 2019 FYW series.
Uppers made from a mixture of leather and mesh are complemented by grey lateral toe box inserts and clean white rope laces. As per the reissues FYW S-97, the Ronnie Fieg collaboration will also see added adiPRENE® and EVA for increased sole comfort.
Take a look at the Ronnie Fieg x adidas Consortium Feet You Wear Salvation above and let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Earlier in the month, we shared official imagery of this week’s Nike Kyrie 5 “Duke” release. Today, Irving‘s fifth sneaker surfaces in a familiar “Oreo” iteration – also seen on the LeBron 16, Air VaporMax and other models. The sneaker’s engineered mesh is covered in light grey and is matched in the same tone on the laces, tongue and sockliner. The cookie-inspired theme continues with contrasting touches of black applied to the Swoosh logo, Flytrap-inspired lacing system, heel and outsole. Lastly, white speckles are added to its midsole for the colorway’s final touch.
The Nike Kyrie 5 “Oreo” arrives on March 22 for $130 USD at select Nike Basketball stockists and Nike.com.
