IG & FASHION: Meet 10 of Our Favorite Models on the Runway of Fashion Month FW19

Every Fashion Month, we’re greeted with familiar faces as well as emerging models who are working their way up in the industry. With the Fall/Winter 2019 season nearing its end, we’re spotlighting 10 of our favorites on the runway, including a few who’ve just had their very first Fashion Week experience. From the pink-haired Saint Laurent muse Simona Kust to South Sudanese beauty Aliet Sarah, continue reading to learn more about the supermodels-to-be and the breakout faces of the season.

Sara Grace Wallerstedt

FW19 Highlights: Simone Rocha, Marc Jacobs, Fendi.
Texas-native Sara Grace Wallerstedt has established herself as a runway regular over the past few seasons. Unsurprisingly, FW19 proves to be another action-packed Fashion Month for the ethereal model — she’s cast for a lineup of shows including Tomo Koizumi, Versace, Christopher Kane and more.

Hyunji Shin

Agency: IMG (Worldwide).
FW19 Highlights: Fendi, Jil Sander, Dior.
Hailing from Seoul, Hyunji Shin not only is one of the top models in her home country, but she’s also been active in the global fashion scene. During the FW19 season, the IMG signee has continued to keep herself busy, and has walked for brands including Tom Ford, R13, Jil Sander and Versace to name a few.

Rebecca Longendyke

Agencies: Women Management (New York, Milan, Paris), Storm (London).
FW19 Highlights: Prada, Bottega Veneta, Coach.
Newcomer Rebecca Longendyke has quickly become a favorite of the fashion industry. In addition to appearing in Spring/Summer 2019 campaigns for Chanel and Saint Laurent, the blonde model is also spotted at shows including Moschino, Prada and Dries Van Noten this season.

Mariana Barcelos

Agencies: Ford (Paris), Way Model (São Paulo, Brazil).
FW19 Highlights: Lanvin, Prada.
Mariana Barcelos marched into Fashion Month FW19 with an incredibly strong start. Besides being booked as an exclusive for Prada at Milan Fashion Week, the Brazilian model has also walked in Bruno Sialelli’s debut Lanvin show in Paris.

Aliet Sarah

Agencies: Storm (London), MP (Milan, Paris), Francina Models (Barcelona).
FW19 Highlights: Dries Van Noten, JW Anderson, Saint Laurent.
South Sudanese model Aliet Sarah has enjoyed a career breakthrough this Fashion Month. She was seen at shows including JW Anderson, Max Mara, Versace and Saint Laurent, and on top of that, led the finale at the Dries Van Noten catwalk while wearing a stunning, black turtleneck dress covered in poetic floral graphics.

Heejung Park

Agencies: Muse (New York), The Hive (London), Monster (Milan), MP (Paris).
FW19 Highlights: Burberry, Balmain, Rick Owens.
An up-and-coming model from South Korea, Heejung Park has had quite an eventful FW19 season. From Helmut Lang and Burberry, to Marni and Rick Owens, the effortlessly cool Park was seen strutting down the runway at all four fashion capitals.

Dotain Yeshitela

Agencies: IMG (Worldwide), Few (Lagos, Nigeria).
FW19 Highlights: Dior, Lanvin.
A breakout model this season, Dotain Yeshitela walked her first show ever at Dior’s girl power-charged catwalk. Shortly after that, she has achieved another career milestone by opening the Lanvin show in Paris. It’s safe to say that we’ll be seeing this fresh face regularly in the next few seasons.

Diane Chiu

Agencies: Muse (New York), Key Model Management (Canada).
FW19 Highlights: 3.1 Phillip Lim, Noon by Noor.
After walking at Mansur Gavriel‘s dreamy Fall/Winter 2018 show last year, Canadian model Diane Chiu has returned to New York Fashion Week this season, appearing on the runway at 3.1 Phillip Lim, Noon by Noor and more.

Simona Kust

Agencies: Ford (New York, Paris), Storm (London), The Fabbrica (Milan).
FW19 Highlight: Saint Laurent.
We’re first introduced to Russian model Simona Kust when she walked for Saint Laurent as an exclusive last season. The pink-haired model, who got her head-turning dye-job as requested by Anthony Vaccarello, is undoubtedly one of the top new models to watch. For FW19, she once again graced the catwalk at Saint Laurent.

Chun Jin

Agencies: Storm (London), Ford (Paris), Focus (Shanghai).
FW19 Highlight: Chloé, JW Anderson, Saint Laurent.
Chinese model Chun Jin entered her very first Fashion Month with a bang. After kicking off her FW19 season by walking for JW Anderson, she opened the show for Christopher Kane and was also booked for Fendi, Prada, Saint Laurent and more.
