NEW MUSIC:

Watch the New A Tribe Called Quest Video "Dis Generation" by Hiro Murai of 'Atlanta'

A Tribe Called Quest have released a video for the recent We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service single “Dis Generation.” Having served up a powerful performance of the track for Jimmy Kimmel Live!Q-Tip and company link up with acclaimed Atlanta director Hiro Murai for the song’s visual. Just like the previously-released video for “We The People,” the “Dis Generation” video comes with a strong message attached to it. However, instead of focusing on the political arena, A Tribe Called Quest decide to keep the focus on the art of emceeing. Specifically, the ATCQ artists choose to present a sort of minimalist back-and-forth between artists and performers for their new clip.
You can view the video for “Dis Generation” above.
Listen to Joey Bada$$ & ScHoolboy Q's New Single "Rockabye Baby"
After announcing his sophomore album, All-Amerikkkan Bada$$ earlier this month, Joey Bada$$ makes his return today with a new single from the project called “Rockabye Baby.” Featuring TDE’s own ScHoolboy Q, you’ll find both rappers exchanging sharp, witty verses over the silky Chuck Strangers production. Based on what we’ve heard so far, All-Amerikkkan Bada$$ may go down as one Bada$$’s most politically charged albums to date. The project drops on April 7 via Pro Era Records/Cinematic Music Group; stay tuned.

Hear YG & DJ Mustard's New Single, “Pop It, Shake It”
YG just dropped a new track titled “Pop It, Shake It.” The song is produced by DJ Mustard, who the Bompton rapper once was feuding with but have since squashed the dispute. Mustard produced YG’s debut album My Krazy Life, but due to their falling out, did not contribute to YG’s last album Still Brazy. YG and Mustard have a collaborative mixtape, 400 Summers, arriving soon. However, the exact date of release is unknown. Listen to “Pop It, Shake It” via Apple Music below.
