1017 ALYX 9SM head honcho Matthew M Williams recently took to Instagram to show off his latest piece of ALYX jewelry. Tapping famed watch customizer Mad Paris for the project, Williams shared a bevy of photos of his latest Audemars Piguet Royal Oak timepiece, which has been retrofitted in the street-meets-luxe fashion imprint’s usual minimalistic style.

Opting for the removal of a usual face, the head-turning timepiece features a brushed metal face with no time identifiers. All that are showcased are AP and 1017 ALYX 9SM’s typographic logos. On top of the unique face, the two parties have also ditched AP’s usual clasp for a Cobra Belt-inspired one, which has been doused in two-tone silver and gold-toned stainless steel. More ALYX branding marks the interior of the new clasp.

Just in time for the colder weather, adidas has released a winterized version of the Rivalry TR silhouette. The cold weather-ready take on the shoe features a durable water-repellent coating to ward off rain and snow, with an all-black upper and tonal detailing.

The black high-top sneaker also includes reflective detailing, making it more visible on winter nights. The shoe is finished in full-grain black leather with a lace-up closure, atop a gum sole for extra durability. The black colorway makes for a fall or winter alternative to the summery, lighter colors of the Rivalry that adidas released earlier this year. This year has also seen a few collaborations of the classic 1980s sneaker, including the Eric Emanuel “New York” colorway and the black and white Y-3 version.

With Halloween just around the corner, that means Christmas is not far behind either, and with that, brands are beginning to prep for their holiday season rollout. That being said, Air Jordans are on the Christmas wishlist of just about every sneakerhead, and so Jordan Brand has long played the part of Santa delivering must-have kicks during the months of November and December. This year is no different.

Sliding down the proverbial chimney is Jordan Brand’s “Fearless Ones” Collection, complete with a myriad of collaborations with the AJ1 Low and Mid, a number of seasonally-appropriate AJ1 Highs, and the first ever AJ1 FlyEase.

Alongside with the aforementioned collaborations, Jordan Brand will release five AJ1s inspired by a “flight reimagined.” The first, and maybe the most important, is a black and orange AJ1 High OG constructed entirely of a crinkled patent leather material. This has long been rumored as the “Shattered Backboard 3.0,” and will surely be a favorite for Jordan heads this season. Then we have the AJ1 High Zoom, which features an eye-catching iridescent upper and a full-length Zoom Air unit in the sole. Next is a patent leather AJ1 High OG with a rather unique color combo of black, sky blue, red and white — this one will be an acquired taste, for sure. We then move to the AJ1 High “Bloodline,” which is a new take on the classic black, red and white colorway, where this one applies red piping throughout. And finally, the ladies get another exclusive with a textured AJ1 High fitted with metallic black and rose gold paneling throughout.

Last, but most certainly not least, Jordan created the first-ever AJ1 with Nike FlyEase technology. It features a zipper and strap FlyEase System for easy, one-handed heel entry and exit, as well as an adjustable eyestay hook and loop for top entry.
