Serving as an addition to Yohji Yamamoto‘s Y-3 collection comes the new take on adidas‘s D Rose 5. The shoe has been designed to encompass a sporting functionality and a contemporary, military-inspired theme. As a contribution towards Y-3′s vision for the court, the D Rose 5 features a neoprene, Poron® performance sock liner and a Boost™ midsole with “energy-returning properties.” The upper is constructed from a combination of leather and nappa and features a zip-front closure with internal PU bindings. Italian shoemaker Diemme releases the brand new Diemme Fontesi silhouette with two colorways, “Black Suede” and “Stone Suede.” The new model is almost a reworked version of the brand’s technical mountain runners, with uppers constructed with smooth suede courtesy of UK-based Charles F. Stead & Co tannery. The shoe also features nubuck detailing and a durable Riri zip closure, sourced from Switzerland, which sits on top of a classic Sereno vulcanized sole unit made in Italy. “Black Suede” sports an all-black colorway with a black midsole, while ”Stone Suede” is a soft grey color with a white midsole.
