adidas Originals is bringing back a tennis court favorite from the 1970′s in the Rod Laver trainers. Australian Rod Laver was the number one ranked professional from 1964–70, and boasts 200 singles titles (the most in tennis history) as well as the all-time male singles records of 22 titles in a single season (1962). He is also noted for excelling on all of the court surfaces of his time: grass, clay, hard, carpet and wood/parquet.
