A First Look at the Palace Skateboards x adidas Originals PALACE Pro Trainer
Along with the black and white pair of the new PALACE Pro Primeknits, a new PALACE Pro Trainer completes the shoe releases. The hotly anticipated Palace Skateboards x adidas Originals collaborations have culminated in an all-new silhouette, one that is both streetstyle-savvy and innovative in performance and comfort. Taking a first look at the Pro Trainer, it is constructed of premium perforated suede, while PALACE branding adorns the traditional adidas Three Stripes upon the side panel. The shoe is completed with a molded sock lining for snug comfort, with colorways in gray and black. Anticipate these to drop in stores May 16.
DGK x Fila 2015 Spring/Summer Original Fitness Pack
Stevie Williams-headed DGK has joined forces with Fila for a collaborative iteration of the Original Fitness silhouette. The skate shoe features a durable pig suede upper with a seamless toecap, and extensive cushioning throughout to ensure maximum comfort, while the gum sole provides extra grip. The traditional design and classic colorways are kept intact, but subtle co-branding at the tongue and heel is accompanied by custom artwork in the insole. Priced at $80 USD, the DGK x Fila 2015 spring/summer Original Fitness pack is available for purchase at Fila U.S. locations and online.
Nike SB Dunk High “Obsidian Camo”
Nike Skateboarding returns to the scene by way of the Nike SB Dunk High “Obsidian Camo” sneaker. The high-top skate shoe sports a camouflage print canvas that features a blue-tinted wash. Suede paneling and a gum bottom sole complete the overall rugged aesthetic. Stay tuned for an official date and pricing information concerning the sneaker’s release.
NikeLab SFB Field 15cm Boots
Inspired by founder Bill Bowerman’s service in the 10th Mountain Division during World War II, Nike Sportswear’s SFB Field 15cm Boot — known as the SFB 6″ in the United States — returns for Summer 2015 as the subject of a limited NikeLab release. Getting the premium NikeLab treatment, the release sees the rugged Free-sporting chukka ditching its usual waxed canvas upper and leather overlays for patent leather and ballistic nylon while solid gum rubber and two-toned white/ice sole units complete the package. Retailing for £175 GBP (approximately $276 USD) each, the boots are available now via nike.com to those in the UK while a more widespread, global release is likely to follow in the weeks ahead.
