Inspired by founder Bill Bowerman’s service in the 10th Mountain Division during World War II, Nike Sportswear’s SFB Field 15cm Boot — known as the SFB 6″ in the United States — returns for Summer 2015 as the subject of a limited NikeLab release. Getting the premium NikeLab treatment, the release sees the rugged Free-sporting chukka ditching its usual waxed canvas upper and leather overlays for patent leather and ballistic nylon while solid gum rubber and two-toned white/ice sole units complete the package.
