KICKS: New Balance MRH696BR/ adidas ZX Flux Winter Boot "Sand"/ adidas ZX 8000 "Multi Color"/ Beastin x Reebok Classics Pump Omni Lite "Quiet Storm"
After dropping a black version of the kicks, New Balance has crafted a brown colorway of its mid-top MRH696 boot. Essentially a seasonal take on the popular 996, these weather-resistant kicks come with a ripstop mesh and suede upper, comfy REVlite cushioning and boot-like aesthetic cues that include a padded leather collar, D-ring lacing grommets and rope laces. Finished with a dash of reflective 3M, the MRH696BR is available now via KITH for $115 USD.
adidas adds to the torrent of sneakerboot releases in anticipation of colder weather, with the ZX Flux Winter Boot “Sand.” Taking a departure from the sporty DNA of the ZX Flux, this sneakerboot iteration decks the upper of the design in suede, complete with details such as rope laces, leather accents and metal lace stays. An electric blue raised neoprene bootie ensures a warm and snug fit, while the distinctive ZX Flux heel cage and sole unit shine through in a clean white colorwith blue hits. The adidas ZX Flux Winter Boot “Sand” is now available online at Sneaker Politics for $110 USD.
adidas unveils yet another rework of the iconic ZX 8000 silhouette in a “Multi Color” version. The new offering features a dizzying amount of colors splashed across every inch of the shoe, including both yellow and blue eyestays that anchor the red laces. The shoe also highlights a mélange of textures with the upper segmented in suede and mesh, while the midsole is accented in geometric black and white cutaway designs. A shiny heel cage adds a final finish to the shoe. The adidas ZX 8000 “Multi Color” is available now on Sneaker Politics and HBX.
Beastin has unveiled its first ever shoe collaboration with sportswear icon Reebok, reworking the classic Pump Omni Lite silhouette with a “Quiet Storm” edition. The set is heavily inspired by the celebrated ”Martini” race car sailing jacket designs made famous in the ’70s and ’90s, which incidentally is also Beastin’s trademark aesthetic. Details of the shoe include: nylon inserts, a non-marking clear sole, multi-colored pipings and the customized “Quiet Storm” Pump elements. The Beastin x Reebok Classics “Quiet Storm” Pump Omni Lite will be available October 17 at Beastin online, as well as selected international stockists including Sneakersnstuff.
