RIDES: JAGUAR F-PACE / Startech Unveils New Kit for the Bentley Continental / Mansory Decks Out the Lamborghini Huracán in Carbon Fiber

Jaguar have finally debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show, their very much anticipated Jaguar F-Pace, the company´s first crossover SUV. After months of spy pictures and teaser images, the stunning Jag F-Pace SUV (based on the C-X17 Concept) is finally here. The all-wheel-drive five-seater will launch in the United States next spring, and is available in a range of engines including the 3.0 litre V6 380 PS Supercharged Petrol and Jaguar´s new 2.0 litre 4 cylinder 180PS Turbocharged Diesel Ingenium engine.

The modifications provide the automobile with some youthful vigor, as the package boasts carbon fiber trim, green accents and 22-inch wheels. In regards to the exterior carbon elements, we note a front splitter attached to the bumper, a pair of panels stretched around the side air intakes, and a rear carbon diffuser. For those looking for a more eye-catching edition of the mature classic, Startech’s kit may be the way to go. Again, the official unveil will take place this week at the Frankfurt motor show.

Mansory’s new Huracan customization, dubbed the Torofeo, will have fans feeling nostalgic over the German tuner’s Carbonado “Black Diamond” that was released earlier this year. That’s because, aesthetically, they’re both wrapped in carbon fiber from top to bottom. The Huracan’s name, Torofeo, melds the Spanish word for bull with the Super Trofeo, the motor racing series designated for the fastest Lamborghini’s around. While the vehicle strikes a grand visual appearance, what’s under the hood should cause an even more baffled reaction. Doubling the performance attributes of a standard Huracan, Mansory imbues the vehicle with two bearing-mounted turbochargers, giving it a ludicrous output of 1,232 horsepower and an electronically-limited 737 lb-ft of torque, good enough for a 0 to 100 Km/h time of 2.7 seconds. Look for the car to makes its debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
