Tokyo’s SCYE focuses on quality goods bereft of branding. For Spring/Summer 2018, the label continues to refine European influences with a quintessentially Japanese approach to clothing.
Encompassing an array of hot-weather staples, the brand’s newest offering draws from an expansive color palette. Pleated, carrot-cut trousers are styled with short-sleeve shirts and boxy T-shirts, allowing for bold pattern and color mixing across a disparate array of textiles, such as suedes, summer wools and denim. Outerwear includes classics like bombers and leather jackets, as well as forward-thinking items like a lightweight coat with an MA-1 pocket on the sleeve and a blazer with a hem made adjustable by a pull cord. Thin belts complement the understated assortment of goods.
Look for the selection to arrive at stockists, like New York’s No Man Walks Alone before the weather heats up. For more new Japanese collections, check out Kolor Spring/Summer 2018.
