FASHION: monkey time x Champion Japan 2015 Fall Long Coach Jacket & Reverse Weave Hoodie/ Welcome Skateboards x adidas Skateboarding "A-League" Collection/ C.E 2015 Fall/Winter MD-RESEARCH Shirt/ OFF-WHITE c/o VIRGIL ABLOH Windbreaker With Big Pockets
Fresh off this weekend’s “Orcinus Orca” Disc Blaze release, BEAUTY & YOUTH imprint monkey time is back with yet another collab, this time linking up with Champion’s Japanese imprint for a small capsule collection to usher in Fall 2015. Designed for both men and women, the range includes two different pieces: a coach jacket and hoodie. While the coach jacket retains the nylon-constructed streetwear favorite’s usual stylings while incorporating a longer silhouette, the hoodie — available in both black and grey — boasts Champion’s signature Reverse Weave construction with design cues like a cut neckline and extended curved hem. Retailing for ¥19,440 JPY (approximately $163 USD) and ¥14,040 JPY (approximately $118 USD) respectively, the coach jacket and hoodies will be available from the UNITED ARROWS web store and ZOZOTOWN beginning this September.
In continued support of skateboarding’s staunchest advocates, here adidas’ Skateboarding imprint teams up with Welcome Skateboards to present a new collaboration. The joint project comes as a continuation of the “A-League” collection, which has previously released ranges alongside Magenta Skateboards, Streetmachine and Primitive amongst others. This new range with Welcome is comprised of a custom CLIMALITE® jersey – the tech used throughout adidas’ premium soccer kits – and an ADV-treated iteration of the classic Adi-Ease silhouette. The sneaker is outfitted with a full suede upper and detailed with three leather sidestripes. Custom artwork alluding to the occult adorns both pieces here. Pick up the Welcome Skateboards x adidas Skateboarding “A-League” collection now at your local skateshop or online beginning September 1.
As part of its 2015 fall/winter collection, C.E has released a striking button-up shirt in collaboration with Los Angeles-based artist Matt Damhave. The wide-silhouette shirt features a selection of Damhave’s works, culminating in a color all-over medley of square graphics that cover the entire garment. Staying in line with the Japanese imprint’s penchant for mind-bending psychedelic motifs, purchase the C.E MD-RESEARCH shirt at the brand’s webstore for ¥27,000 JPY (approximately $220 USD).
Fresh off the announcement of his upcoming “OFF-BLACK” collaboration with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s the POOL aoyama, Virgil Abloh’s own imprint OFF-WHITE unveils a new addition to its fall/winter lineup. The “Windbreaker With Big Pockets” features a fixed wraparound hood construction, four large pockets at the front, concealed zip closure along the side, and a removable tonal panel emblazoned with the imprint’s distinct “WHITE” branding. Additional details include a drawstring waistband, and contrasting laces and eyelets. With the summer season at its close, weatherproof garments will be in-demand so this functional piece could potentially be a perfect addition to your wardrobe. Priced at $1,275 USD, purchase the OFF-WHITE c/o VIRGIL ABLOH Windbreaker With Big Pockets at select retailers including Slam Jam.
