KICKS: Nike LeBron 12 What The / Air Jordan 1 Mid White/Cool Grey-White / Nike LeBron 12 Low World Tour / Nike SB Dunk High PRM “Brown Paper Bag” / Nike Kobe X Overcome

The Jordan Brand unveils a new colorway of its iconic Air Jordan 1 silhouette ahead of the fall season. Rendered in a crisp white base, subtle touches of cool grey are utilized throughout, while contrasting branding is placed at the side, tongue and heel. Perforations at the side panel and tonal lacing and midsole round out the latest design for the basketball silhouette. Purchase the Air Jordan 1 mid white/cool grey-white at select retailers including Sneaker Politics for $110 USD.

The latest Nike LeBron 12 style pays homage to his latest Asian tour with Nike Basketball. The tour took him to the Philippines, and the “World Tour” colorway is inspired by the island country and its capital of Manila. In a predominantly blue upper matched with a speckled midsole, a light translucent blue outsole, and a visible Air unit, the shoe takes on the Philippines’ colors of red, blue and white. Additionally, Manila’s initials of “MNL” are adorned on the pull tabs, while the bagde on the tongue takes from the shape of the Philippine national basketball team’s coat of arms. Additionally, the Chinese city of Beijing also gets some love with its latitude and longitude coordinates on the tabs. The pair will run you $175 USD, and will be available August 22 at select Nike retailers worldwide.

Nike SB’s latest offering is the Dunk HIgh PRM “Brown Paper Bag” — a sneaker in ode to the corner boy in all of us. The upper features a coffee hue texture, crinkled in Filber Brown. Black hits at the tongue, midsole and Swoosh offer complementing touches, while a gum outsole rounds out this eye-catching silhouette. The “Brown Paper Bag” is currently available from Premier at $110 USD.

Part of Kobe Bryant’s legacy is founded on the idea of falls. Especially toward the latter portion of his career, Kobe has faced everything from emotional strife in false accusations to tears and fractures in his knees, fingers, hips and ankle and shoulder. The physical and emotional fortitude are the marks of any great, and applying this to its flagship athlete, here Nike offers up a new iteration of the Kobe X. The “Overcome” colorway is curiously executed in a combination of Emerald Glow and Court Purple through the upper, with a black leather tongue interrupting the complex palette. The sneaker is set off by a silver Swoosh at the sides, which rests with the upper atop a tonal translucent Zoom Air outsole. Check out the photos above and grab this iteration of the Kobe X online beginning August 27.
