As a part of its collection for Fall 2015, BEAUTY & YOUTH imprint monkey time has teamed up with Japanese footwear label Caminando to take on the prototypical military boot. Taking cues from contemporary American military boots, the collaborative design boasts a combination of premium leather and suede while incorporating a heavy duty rubber sole unit and design cues like a gusseted tongue, padded collar and metal D-ring lacing grommets. Available in both tan and grey, the seasonal footwear is due out this September via UNITED ARROWS for ¥29,700 JPY (approximately $245 USD) per pair.
Native Shoes drops the waterproof edition of its classic Apollo sneaker in a variety of colors for the coming fall months. The low-cut boot features an all-rubber upper in Black, Utility Green, Regatta Blue and Fire Truck Red that sits atop a speckled white midsole. For its latest silhouette, GREATS looked back at World War II and the classic desert boot — the crepe-soled sand-colored ankle boots worn by local military men in Burma — to craft the brand new Hirsh. Improving upon the original concept by fusing the boot with cues from classic American running shoes, the design boasts a navy suede “Cadet” upper while coupling the deconstructed mid-top look with a hand-stitched leather heel counter, dual-colored EVA midsole and 100% Margom gum rubber outsole. The clean hybrid is due to be available from the GREATS web store beginning this Friday, August 28 for $149 USD.

A hiking boot in style, the model features a light cream-colored, soft leather upper with beige leather lining, quick-lace metallic silver eyelets, pink ribbon laces, and a white rubber sole.
