NikeCourt Celebrates Serena Williams With "Greatness" Collection

Amid it resurgence over the past few weeks leading up to the U.S. Open next week, here NikeCourt celebrates Serena Williams with the aptly-named “Greatness” collection. Comprised of three silhouettes and a special-edition bomber jacket, the range was initially ideated in conjunct with none other than Mark Parker himself, with whom Williams retains a close personal working relationship. The bomber jacket sets the tone for the rest of the collection; the NikeCourt Bomber is executed with luxurious white taffeta fabric, bearing a black mesh collar and cuffs alongside a special message from Williams herself at the interior lining.
Elsewhere, the NikeCourt Air Max 1 Ultra, NikeCourt Roshe LD-1000 and NikeCourt Flare – Serena’s signature model – are all done up with a rare custom print that immortalizes Nike’s Safari print in marble. The print, meant to juxtapose Williams’ strength with Nike’s heritage, is carefully applied on a semi-transparent no-sew skin and capped off with a premium leather Swoosh. Pick up these special commemorative items at select NikeLab locations and online beginning August 27.
