FRESH KICKS: BUSCEMI 100mm "CLIP"/ visvim 2015 Fall/Winter Brigadier Boots "Hi-Folk"/ Diemme Fontesi "Black Kudu"/ Song for the Mute x KKtP 2015 Fall/Winter Grey Matte Leather Boots SSENSE Exclusive/ Dior Homme 2015 Fall/Winter "B17" Sneaker Collection
BUSCEMI quickly became a household name in the sneaker world through its luxurious, somewhat over-the-top designs that divided the opinions of sneakerheads across the globe. Its most iconic silhouette to-date, the 100mm, was the first model that really got widespread attention with its Hermes Birkin bag-inspired design that included an opulent mechanical closure and padlock. After rendering it in host of colorways, Mr. Buscemi unveils a slight update to the original design with the “CLIP” model. The high-top sneaker debuts a new buckle closure system at the front, which wraps around to the heel where the signature packlock is now located. Do you prefer the old or the new design of the 100mm? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and look to purchase this latest version at Sneakerboy in the coming weeks.
After the success of its “Mid-Folk” version, visvim reimagines its Brigadier Boots model this season in the “Hi-Folk” design. The shoe has been decked out in an upper of either bison leather from the traditional American tannery Horween, or in waxed suede. The two versions are available in a medley of colorways, and have been mounted atop a Dainite sole. An eye-catching design detail is also evident in the printed calico heel component. The visvim 2015 Fall/Winter Brigadier Boots “Hi-Folk” are now available from select F.I.L. locations worldwide.
Diemme — comprised of brothers Dennis and Marco — is often seen as a frontrunner in exceptionally produced contemporary footwear. The brand’s Fontesi is inspired by a technical mountain runner — updated with a RiRi zipper and a new, clean and minimalist aesthetic. Set atop a Serena sole, the Fontesi gets upgraded with black kudu leather, which is incredibly thick but soft to touch. The shoe is finished off with a nubuck leather mouth to round off its premium make. Retailing for $420 USD, check it out at END Clothing.
Known for its free-flowing garments and tonal aesthetic, Australian label Song for the Mute returns to our viral pages with a brand new piece of footwear for the Fall/Winter 2015 season. Teaming up with designer footwear imprint KKtp, the decidedly futuristic sneaker is right at home alongside the label’s apparel. The unique boot fuses elements of a technical sneaker, Chelsea boot, and Timberland’s iconic 6-inch as a wrinkled upper of matte grey leather is paired with medial zippers, a plush contrasting midsole, and a Velco-strapped ankle that mimics the look of a Timb’s padded collar. Exclusive to SSENSE, the special release can be picked up online now for $620 USD while supplies last.
Dior Homme introduces a new athletic-inspired luxury footwear silhouette for its 2015 fall/winter collection with the “B17″ sneaker. Featuring a matte calf and techno canvas upper, hidden lacing system, a white rubber sole, and Dior Homme signature logo embossed on the heel, the lightweight sneaker is offered in three colorways: Navy/Burgundy, White/Black and Grey/White.
