Whether it’s a flat out reissue or a revamp/remake of a vintage model, we’ve seen a new trend of bringing back retro watches this year: from Bulova reissuing its iconic ’70s Computron to Seiko giving an update to its legendary “Captain Willard” to Tudor releasing a Black Bay inspired by a prototype it made for the US Navy back in 1968. Now, Timex has followed suit, announcing the reissue of its classic watch: the 1979 Q Timex.
With this reissue, Timex has stayed true to the original, recreating every detail of the 38 mm timepiece with close attention. Whether it’s the luminescent paint on the dial and the rotating dual-colored “Pepsi” bezel, or the retro woven stainless-steel bracelet and the modern quartz movement, Timex has carefully pieced together a fully accurate reissue of the 1979 model. The movement, in particular, is a Seiko caliber PC33, capable of presenting the time, date, and day or week. The classic navy blue dial is branded with “Q TIMEX” and “QUARTZ”, a tribute to the end of the mechanical movement and Timex’s evolution into the quartz era. To finish things off, the watch is also water-resistant to a depth of 50 meters.
If you’re a fan of vintage timepieces, the 1979 Q Timex Reissue is now available over at Timex’s online store, retailing for $179 USD.

Coming together once again, Dior and French-based BMX brand Bogarde put together a new clean white tone bike.
Serving as the duo’s third collaboration, the new bike strays from the previous iterations with an austere white paint job. Really going all out with the white look, even the tires, bike pedals, seat, handles and brake levers match the clean aesthetic. The white paint job is contrasted only by the peeking silver-tone parts and gold trim found on the tires. Branding hits come in the form of engraved Bogarde branding on the bike chain gear and Dior’s signature monogram pattern applied on the top tube frame pad.
Set to drop sometime this month, stay tuned for more details regarding the release of the bike.
prada knit running sneakers black yellow colorway release spring 2019
Prada has played with different silhouettes and treatments in its footwear offering this season, including a futuristic edition of its signature Cloudbust sneaker and the Pegasus model with its ultra-chunky sole. Now the Italian label is taking things down with a fresh low-top silhouette, dressing it in a cozy knit upper with a color scheme fit for bumblebees.
The shoe features a heathered effect along the body, while a black toe cap and heel bring in a dark contrast. Yellow details are dotted throughout, including stripe designs along the tongue and side panels. Prada’s logo patch is featured on the lateral side for branding, while white laces offer a streamlined touch. A white foam rubber midsole and a black outsole finish it all off.
Priced at $820 USD, Prada’s yellow and black knit sneakers are available now from select retailers such as SSENSE and LUISAVIAROMA.
