adidas Originals has released a tri-color-adorned iteration of its revived ’80s basketball sneaker, the Rivalry RM Low.
The Three Stripes reworked the Rivalry RM Low’s retro aesthetic with BOOST technology while also maintaining a vintage look with a gum outsole. “Cloud White/Raw White” leather swathes the upper, while the aforementioned tri-color scheme is littered throughout for a nod to adidas’ sporting archive.
For a more contemporary look, adidas adds TPU paneling around the rear and tonal rope laces which overlay a gold-toned foiled text print on the tongue, detailing adidas’ branding and “Three Stripes” slogan. Elsewhere, the sneaker sees soft leather and suede panels on the vamp, tongue and heel in blue and “Cloud White,” as well as tri-color hues adorning the embroidered three stripes on the lateral side of the shoe.
The adidas Originals Rivalry RM Low “Cloud White/Raw White” is priced at €130 EUR (approx. $145 USD) and can be purchased from retailers such as Footdistrict.
Nike Air Max 2 Light "Habanero Red/Armory Navy" and Dark Obsidian/Sail swoosh sneakers red air sole unit
As a follow up to the Air Max2 Light “Habanero Red” released last month, Nike is adding two multi-colored iterations of the silhouette to the slate.
The latest colorways are dubbed “Habanero Red/Armory Navy” and “Dark Obsidian/Sail.” On the former model, a color-blocked upper is paneled in hues of red, navy, pastel yellow and silver. At the forefoot is breathable mesh while the toe cap comes in black. Its heel is stamped with nylon Nike branding.
The latter colorway comes in palettes of whit, teal, royal blue and black, with a red Swoosh to complete the scheme. As a finishing touch, a distinctively teal-tinted Air bubble appears at the midsole.
The Nike Air Max2 Light “Habanero Red/Armory Navy” and “Dark Obsidian/Sail” will be available on May 30, 11 a.m. EST at Sneakersnstuff’s online store for $139 USD.
Air Jordan 7 Ray Allen Release
In March, Jordan Brand gave us an initial look at its upcoming sneaker releases for the summer. One of those included the Air Jordan 7Ray Allen,” which pays tribute to the basketball legend’s initial stint with Milwaukee Bucks and celebrates the 23-year anniversary of signing with the brand.
Coming off the heels of Allen’s induction into the Hall of Fame in 2018 with two of his original P.E. models, this iteration also reaches into the past, drawing inspiration from the Bucks’ retro logo. Comprised of black and dark gray colorways accented with hints of purple and hunter green, the footwear combines both the Bucks’ Home and Away themes. The nubuck leather on the upper also adds a luxe touch to the design while the “Ray” logo is stamped along the sockliner.
The Air Jordan VII “Ray Allen” is expected to hit stores on June 1 at 10 am ET.

Gucci has returned with two new iterations of its famed slides to keep you stylish and comfortable during the forthcoming Summer season. The first of the two new takes is the Logo Leather and Rubber Slides, which dons an orange version of the SEGA-esque house logo that has been inspired by various styles of retro footwear. The next is from the Italian imprint’s Pre-AW19 collection, the GG Cut-Out Rubber Slides, which are decorated with a contemporary take on the house’s signature GG motif. These have been crafted from a sturdy rubber material, emblazoned with a cut-out logo pattern across the front strap. Both feature a molded insole for increased comfort.
You can take a look at both pairs in the gallery above, and if you’re interested in picking up either pair for yourself, head over to MATCHESFASHION.COM where they are retailing for $590 USD and $250 USD, respectively.
