Italian fashion house Giuseppe Zanotti has selected Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi of Rae Sremmurd fame to present its latest, skate-inspired sneaker. Coming in three styles, the Blabber incorporates elements of classic, West-coast skate shoe design, blended with Zanotti’s signature, disruptive, deconstructed aesthetic.
Starring in the campaign video, the rappers showcase each of the styles and colorways, including a canvas low-top; a croc-printed leather low-top and a croc-printed leather high-top. Company founder Giuseppe Zanotti explained why Rae Sremmurd were chosen for the campaign, “I wanted to break the rules and create an unexpected campaign—there are no better rule-breakers than Rae Sremmurd.”
All the styles come in an all-white or all-black colorway, and carry the distinctive 3D-printed spiny sole as seen in the Urchin sneaker that was released last year. Prices start at £355 GBP ($450 USD) and the various styles are available from the Giuseppe Zanotti web store now.
