COMME des GARCONS x Nike Air Force 1 Available Now Closer Look
Earlier this year, the first pairs of COMME des GARÇONS’ take on Nike’s classic Air Force 1 silhouette made an appearance at Dover Street Market’s New York store. At the time, details of the collaboration were shady, with only two colorways on show and speculation about whether or not the sneaker would ever even appear for retail.
The COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Air Force 1s have now made their way to some stores, along with new details about the sneaker. The avant-garde mould that appeared on the shoes is actually a 3D dinosaur sculpture by American artist Scott Hove, while the sneaker is available in either low or hi-top versions. The shoe comes in three different colorways, with one being triple black and the other two coming in white — one with a yellow plastic dinosaur on the front panel, and the other with a light blue model attached to the front. The sneakers are available now from select retailers including Selfridges, with the low-top’s priced at £305 GBP (or $335 USD), and the hi-top’s retailing for £325 GBP/$355 USD.
As well as the dinosaur-adorned Air Force 1s, COMME des GARÇONS has recently unveiled other Nike collaborations including a take on the Waffle Racer and the Flyknit Racer.
Jordan Brand Jordan Generation
Despite news that adidas recently jumped over Jordan Brand to claim the #2 sneaker brand spot in the U.S., Michael Jordan’s sportswear line shows no sign of slowing down — continuing to add on to its already storied arsenal. With that said, we now take a look at the newest member to join the family in the all-new Jordan Generation model.
The uppers, in its black/chrome colors scheme, features a lightweight textile composition and a statement quarter panel strap closure, while the sole unit spotlights a carbon fiber shank plate and grooved rubber treads. Signature branding, namely the Jumpman logo and MJ’s famed 23 jersey number can be found throughout. Set to a price of $160 USD, the new silhouette can be found now through the brand’s online shop.

Contrasting the aforementioned white coloring you’ll find black placed on its outsole. Voltage Yellow commands your attention as its found in the silhouette’s full-length visible Air Max unit while being placed on the Swoosh logos.

Nike Zoom Vaporfly Elite Eliud Kipchoge Red 2017 September 23 24 Release Date Info Sneakers Shoes Footwear
World class marathon runner Eliud Kipchoge will attempt to make history this weekend and run a complete 42-kilometer marathon in under two hours. In order to perform at the best level he possibly can, Nike has gifted the Kenyan runner with his own pair of Zoom Vaporfly Elites. Made specifically for Kipchoge’s needs, the shoe is constructed with a custom fiber plate and Nike’s signature ZoomX foam. This allows for optimal foot comfort and a lightweight feel that won’t hinder Kipchoge’s endeavor.
While Nike originally made the shoe specifically for Kipchoge, running enthusiasts will have their chance to purchase the premier piece of footwear for themselves. Runners in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom can choose to complete a Just Do It Sunday run on September 24 through the NRC app. If completed, the app will send a push notification that will let those select users know that one of the 99 pairs made is available. In addition to this, the shoe will be available for a limited time in Nike’s Berlin location for €500 EUR (just under $600 USD).
adidas NMD R1 Red Night
adidas Originals has covered the NMD_R1 in a deep purple hue perfect for the fall. Its breathable “Red Night” mesh upper is offset with various shades of purple for those who prefer a darker shoe. An EVA insert of the same shade rests on the white midsole, creating a clean profile. It’s rare to find a true purple shoe, so don’t sleep on this release.
Pick up your pair from Footlocker EU, retailing for $150 USD.
