New York hip-hop legend Nas continues his recent fashion headline dominance — following up wearing the KITH x Coca-Cola collection and being featured on the Supreme “Nasty Nas” tee — with a collaboration alongside Foot Locker and Timberland. The Fall 2017 Legends Collection will feature monthly drops known as volumes VII-X with modern reworks of classic Timb styles that have become a staple in the urban fashion scene.
Accompanying each release is an animated short video where Nas tells his story in a first person narrative from his days in Queensbridge to getting discovered and becoming the star he is today. For the first sneaker in the series, Volume VII, the FlyRoam Leather Sneakerboot takes on a buttermilk nubuck leather upper on the sporty silhouette. Retailing for $150 USD, it will be available via Foot Locker’s Launch Reservation Procedure in select NYC locations on September 17 for pickup on September 23. Legend Club locations nationwide and footlocker.com will have stock on September 30.
