New Jersey-based sneaker boutique Soled Out recently shared its rare version of the highly coveted Pharrell Williams x adidas Originals Hu NMD sneaker.
Detailing on the low-top kicks include a mint green upper, a black cage overlay and a clean white BOOST sole. Standing out on the upper portion are the Chinese characters of the word ”humanity.” On the heel of the sneakers, we see co-branding details, a colorful adidas Trefoil and the yellow Pharrell Williams logo.
Pricing out at $12,000 USD, the silhouette is one of two in the world in a size nine. Check out Soled Out’s web store for more details.
Jordan Brand first revealed its Gatorade collection revamp back in November and now, 26 years later, the shoe will be dropping once again. Jordan’s adverts first dropped back in 1991 with the catchphrase “Be Like Mike,” telling viewers to channel their inner Jordan. The above shoe is one of the things that arose from the adverts, playing with the silhouette of the Air Jordan 6 by twisting and turning the panels while using a white and orange colorway with green accents.
The Gatorade x Air Jordan 6 will be available from select retailers such as OVERKILL starting on December 16 for $190 USD. Also be sure to check out the winter-ready Air Jordan 9 Boot NRG.
adidas Originals‘s classic Samba OG model is back with a few upgrades. The latest “Gum” Pack features the model in two colorway options welcoming black or white uppers. Each model sits atop a gum sole unit. Nubuck coats the respective uppers while suede is placed around the toe box. The Three Stripes also adds synthetic leather to its logo, lining and heel tab.
Take a look at the models above and let us know your thoughts. The adidas Originals Samba OG “Gum” Pack is currently available for $99 USD each via select adidas Originals retailers such as Sneaker Politics.
According to some industry scuttlebutt, Eminem and Jordan Brand‘s ultra-rare Jordan 4 Encore may be making a return.
The sneaker originally released back in 2004, commemorating the rapper’s 2004 Encore album release. Its album cover featured Em donning a blue suit, reflected in the Jordan 4’s blue nubuck upper. Currently only available at Stadium Goods in a size 9 for a whopping $69,000 USD, the shoe is indisputably one of the most valuable Jordans out there. Late yesterday, jordanmagazine took to Instagram to tease a photo of a possible new edition of the sneaker, due “End of 2017.” This would indeed coincide with Eminem’s forthcoming Revival album and a selection of limited goods is already supplementing the release.
Jordan Brand and Eminem have been tight-lipped on the retro, if it’s even real. What do you think? Is it plausible that the shoe will make a return? Stay tuned as we’ll report on the info as it arrives. In related leak news, an industry insider claims that Em will be touring in 2018.
Back in October, we got a sneak peek at a familiar looking color-scheme on Nike’s latest Air VaporMax, and now we’ve got the full details. The upcoming iteration, dressed in grey, red and black, pays heed to one of the model’s inaugural colorways and is set to launch in early 2018.
The revamped look of one of 2017’s hottest kicks sees the Flyknit upper wrapped in a dark grey, while the Nike Swoosh — that adorns the medial sides — arrives in a “Varsity Red.” Red also hits the tongue and heel branding with black detailing — found across the upper — finishing off the body. The entire silhouette rests atop a blacked out VaporMax sole unit. This latest model — which is part of Nike’s Heritage Collection, that is honoring old-school Air Max colorways — will be available at select Nike retailers and online for $190 USD.
The Gatorade x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ushers in another iteration boasting purple coloring throughout its entire upper. Dubbed “Grape,” the colorway follows the collection’s “Blue Lagoon,” “Lemon Lime” and “Orange Peel” iterations as they all hold special nods to notable Gatorade flavors.
Alongside the others, this drop honors the original “Like Mike” campaign from 1991 thanks to subtle detailing such as a special hang tag, lightning logo on each lateral heel, ”Like Mike” box and more. The sneaker is presented with premium leather throughout and is expected to retail for $175 USD.
The Gatorade x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Grape” is scheduled for a December 26 drop and will be available at select Jordan Brand retailers. You can also take a look at the Air Jordan 6 and Air Jordan 32 Low which will also be a part of Jordan Brand’s “Like Mike” Collection here.
