Louis Vuitton has just introduced dial updates to its Tambour Horizon timepiece. The two updates have been dubbed the Regatta and Spin Time.
Drawing on the theme of sailing, the Regatta has a navy blue dial while the Spin Time movement is exclusive to LV and has been designed by the watchmakers at La Fabrique du Temps. Additionally, the French company has added 29 city guides to the Tambour Horizon. The city guides will offer a “selection of addresses chosen with originality — from luxury hotels to local bistros, street markets or secret monuments,” the company explained. Both a “Near Me” function for helping you plan in the moment and a “24H-IN” function for advanced planning are available.

COMME des GARÇONS is well-regarded for its eccentric runway shows and quirky collaborations, but the Japanese label has recently taken to offering collectibles with its branding front and center. In that same vein, COMME des GARÇONS launched a set of tongue-in-cheek championship rings.
Focusing on six bespoke rings, the jewelry all features the brand name, inset gems and various slogans on contrast panels. One ring states “LIVE FREE,” another offers “LIVE STRONG,” and a third features “MY ENERGY COMES FROM FREEDOM” — three quintessential brand mottos. “CDG” and the number 1 also appear on several pieces, along with several animals, including a panther, tiger and eagle, referencing school mascots. All of the rings present unique designs, with different gems, slogans and settings on each.
The collection is currently available in the jewelry space of various Dover Street Market locations. In other Dover Street Market news, the popular shop was recently selected as one of our top 10 luxury retailers of the year.
Bell & Ross just re-released its popular BR01 “Burning Skull” watch in bronze. Initially dropped in 2009, the new iteration is set to be limited to only 100 pieces. The model features a three-dimensional relief of a skull which pays homage to the brave parachutists of WWII. It is said that these soldiers wore such an insignia alongside the words “Death from Above.” Additionally, the timepiece features a black SuperLuminova that heightens the design’s dark appeal.
In addition to the skull and crossbones, the special product also has decorative engravings that mirror the style of tattoos. As for the patina already seen on the watch, it’s the use of bronze that allows for this creation of character which will be different from owner to owner. Other features of the watch include a calibre BR-CAL.302 mechanical automatic movement and water resistant capabilities up to 100 meters. Unfortunately, the watch is made exclusively for the Hong Kong and China market. Die-hard fans outside these regions will really need to go out of their way to acquire one.
Visit the Bell & Ross official site for more information on a release date.
