Buddy Austin of Third Eye Assembly has just shared the world’s first-ever marijuana-themed luxury watch, a custom handmade Rolex Oyster Perpetual Milgauss aptly named the “Cannabis.” With over 150 hours of work put in under the knife, each leaf was meticulously hand-engraved and the final product is truly a work of art.
Featuring a “Fin Des Temps” watch face complemented by a praying mantis graphic clasp and “Reefer Madness” rear casing, the watch was privately sold for $30,000 USD. The green, yellow and orange components placed on the face each stand out alongside a painted second hand.
New Era has joined forces with the Los Angeles Lakers to honor the legend Kobe Bryant. Dubbed the “Retirement Series,” the drop features a selection of headwear in 9fifty and 9twenty styles with color choices of purple, yellow or black. Each piece hosts special embroidered designs paying homage to the Black Mamba’s days as number 8 and 24.
Taking things up a notch, a luxury edition will also be available in all black as it welcomes authentic ostrich on the visor that’s complemented by an 18K gold pin. Only eight pieces of the luxe cap have been made with each retailing for $5,824.08 USD. The remaining pieces range from $24 to $36 USD with all items launching on December 18 via New Era’s webstore and at the Staple Center in LA.

Having released the nostalgia-themed lookbook for its Spring/Summer 2018 collection, Balenciaga has now made the full collection available for pre-order. The drop features a range of graphic pieces, with prints including the Double B logo and “Europa” motif that featured on the brand’s recently-released $1000 USD supermarket shopping bags.
Some of the key pieces in the Spring/Summer 2018 collection include a denim jacket wrapped in a transparent film inspired by dry cleaning covers, T-shirts and hoodies bearing images from Balenciaga lookbooks and branded trackpants. Prices for this collection range from $5600 USD for a fringed leather jacket to $350 USD for a relatively understated T-shirt. Elsewhere in this drop, Balenciaga has unveiled new Speed Trainer colorways (although currently only in kids’ sizes) and accessories such as earrings and key holders.
