Olivier Rousteing is pulling out all the stops for Balmain‘s Pre-Fall 2018 collection. The young creative director has realized a luxurious lineup of garments spanning suiting, sportswear, and casual offerings.
Rousteing returns Victorian motifs on sportcoats while elevating the flair of traditional varsity and leather jackets with sequin, tweed, and velvet textiles to name a few. Standout pieces from the collection include pin-striped blazers with embroidered patches, nylon track jackets with contrasting stripes, sequin crewnecks with metallic red and blue accents, and minimalist motorcycle trousers with side zippers in a silver polish.
