Kyrie Irving‘s next chapter with Nike has officially begun. “Uncle Drew” will soon hang up his Kyrie 3 as the Swoosh has officially unveiled the Kyrie 4. Designed by Benjamin Nethongkome, Irving’s fourth signature sneaker evolves from past designs seen on the Kyrie 1, 2 and 3.
Tailored to Irving’s unpredictable style of play, the forthcoming drop incorporates a zig-zag flex grove outsole to provide unrivaled traction. The outsole continues to wrap up and around the foot, placing an emphasis on quickness and speed. Additional details include a Cushlon midsole, a Zoom Air heel unit, engineered mesh, as well as material choices and blocking influenced by Irving’s interest in vintage Nike and Jordan silhouettes.
The sneaker is slated to drop in “Confetti” and Blk/Wht iterations on release. The “Confetti” edition is a reflection of Kyrie superstitiously carrying around a piece of confetti from last season’s NBA Finals as a mental note of how it felt to face defeat.
The Nike Kyrie 4 “Confetti” will launch at House of Hoops locations in Boston, Cambridge, Harlem and Wayne, New Jersey on December 16 to coincide with him wearing them tonight against the Utah Jazz. The drop will also be held on Nike’s SNKRS app and select Nike Basketball retailers. The Blk/Wht version is slated for a release on December 20.
Following the reveal of his collaborative KITH x Nike LeBron 15, Ronnie Fieg hosted a special event at his former school and longtime basketball powerhouse Benjamin N. Cardozo High School in Queens to commemorate the release.
With the emphasis on James, Fieg debuted a mini-documentary with Nike showcasing LeBron’s already legendary career with help from many of the people in the superstar’s life delivering unrivaled insight. The private screening was accompanied by 40 exclusive on-court editions of the upcoming KITH x Nike LeBron 15. This special iteration sees navy applied to the silhouette’s “Battle-Knit” upper, along with a gold Riri zipper down the middle.

Nike’s Air VaporMax has proven to be one the game’s hottest sneaker silhouettes with the Swoosh constantly looking to reinvent the model via different textile applications and bold colorway injections. Already having previewed the Air VaporMax Chukka Slip in black, we now take a look at this recently surfaced white version.
A textured knit-constructed upper lands on top, while the model’s signature full-length VaporMax sole unit sits directly below. Other notable features include the extended boot-like collar and the mid-foot overlay, which is used to replace the lacing system. The Nike Air VaporMax Chukka Slip is scheduled to make its debut sometime early next year. Be sure to stay tuned for release details.

Nike’s Air More Uptempo “NYC” and “ATL” will be launching at select Nike stockists just in time for the holidays. The two unique options are a part of the athletic imprint’s City Pack that also includes an all-red Chicago rendition. The “ATL” variant pays homage to Scottie Pippen who won an NBA Championship in ‘96 as well as a gold medal at the Atlanta Olympics in the same year. The basketball shoe boasts leather uppers alongside green and metallic gold accents. For the “NYC” rendition, the sneaker touts a predominantly grey makeup with navy and white detailing for good measure.
Expect both pairs to launch at Nike’s official website and select retailers for approximately $170 USD.
Yohji Yamamoto and adidas debuted a sleek selection of Y-3 footwear for the Spring/Summer 2018 season during Paris Fashion Week this past June. One of the pairs spotted on the runway was the all-new Saikou model. Now, select retailers worldwide have the low-top sneaker in stock. For construction details, the futuristic shoe boasts a sock-like knit upper alongside BOOST cushioning. When it comes to colorways, the variant is wrapped in black or white options. To top it all off, both pairs are embellished with co-branded details on the uppers.
