Following Pantone’s announcement made earlier this week that 2018’s Color of the Year would be “Ultra Violet,” the purple craze seems to be infiltrating ever corner of the Internet. Jumping head-first into the madness, adidas has now unveiled its latest colorway of the AlphaBOUNCE silhouette and you guessed it – it’s “Ultra Violet.” Entirely dipped in the sumptuously royal hue, the sneaker is rendered with an upper resembling hairy suede. Rounding off the look are a rope lacing system and a rubberized heel for optimized comfort.

Documenting his recent time at Sole DXB 2017 in Dubai on Instagram, Jeff Staple revealed a one of one BAPE x PUMA Basket Classic sported by PUMA’s Global Senior Head of Lifestyle Footwear and Select, Yassine Saidi. Previously unseen and unknown, the model seen in the photo posted to the social media platform reworks PUMA’s court classic model with BAPE’s iconic footwear branding. The unreleased collaborative model features a simple black suede upper and contrasting white sole unit accented by a BAPESTA shooting star and branding found on the sides and laces of the shoe. Continuing its AF1 35th-anniversary celebrations, Nike recently unveiled a classic FORCE logo Air Force 1 pack. Comprised of three colorways, centered around the iconic ’90s logo, the pack offers the latest iterations of Bruce Kilgore’s signature footwear model.
The “Force Logo” Air Force 1 features a tumbled leather upper accented by a white detailed matching Swoosh and an offset FORCE logo. While an AF1 heel logo inspired by the model’s pivot point focussed circular outsole pattern and a contrasting midsole-outsole unit round up the design of the shoe. No official release notes just yet but stay tuned for more information regarding the release of Nike’s Air Force 1 “FORCE Logo” pack.

Not long after unveiling the Fear of God x Vans and F.O.G. x Vans collections, Jerry Lorenzo continues to build on his collaborative footwear series with a brand new Slip-On Style 147 in black.
The classic slip-on model previously debuted in three upper colorways of tonal red, black & white and red & black last month. This time, it sports an all-black upper with subtle white stitching, a clean white rubber sole unit and a gold Fear of God branding plaque at the velcro strap for some added luxe.
There’s no word yet on the official release date and price point, but it’s said that the Fear of God x Vans Slip-On Style 147 in black will be limited to just 50 pairs. Stay tuned for more information and if you’re looking for other Vans collaborations, Japanese sneaker retailer BILLY dropped an exclusive set of velvet Vans Chukkas.
Following the adidas Originals x Daniel Arsham “New York PRESENT” drop today, the Three Stripes unveils another iteration of the runner reworked in an understated retro theme.
The “Core Black” sneaker features contrasting uppers using dark textile combined with OG silver metallic mesh and light-grey leather. The makeover feels like a signature adidas look fitted with nubuck overlays, translucent toe panels and white web-wrapped EVA midsoles.
Keep your eyes peeled for the adidas New York ”Core Black” set to release at retailers like Inflammable in January of 2018. For a more vibrant adidas New York option, check out Hanon’s recently dropped versions.
Nike’s new Air Vapormax CS has already surfaced in a few color options, including Blue/Black and Triple Black. Today, another iteration surfaced, boasting contrasting black and white coloring.
Resting atop a clear Vapormax unit, its upper sees a white overlay with a black Swoosh spanning from the midfoot to the heel. The toebox welcomes a mesh material, while the entire model is complemented by red accents placed on the tongue, insoles and aforementioned toebox.
The Nike Air Vapormax CS “Black/White” has not been confirmed for an official launch as of yet, so stay tuned for more details.
Charles Barkley’s Nike Air Force Max is back with two new tonal colorways — one in blue and the other in tan. Following up on October’s “Flax” makeover, the classic silhouette returns rocking two simple tonal aesthetics.
The shoes monochromatic upper does provide some variation thanks in part to the color gradient contrast and multi-material composition. The construction remains true to what fans have come to expect from the Air Force Max, with the sneaker resting atop a rubber midsole and branding found on its tongue and midfoot strap. The model’s latest subtle colorways can lend themselves well to a number of outfits and occasions — proving its versatility. No official release information has surfaced, so be sure to stay tuned for upcoming details.
