After recently revealing the pair of collaborative items, we now have an in-depth look at The North Face and Timberland‘s collaborative drop.
The North Face’s branded and down-filled puffer fabric lines the shaft of a Timberland 6-inch boot, with the usual water-resistant nubuck ensuring that your feet remain equally dry and warm. One of the former brands’ iconic Nupste jackets makes for the perfect complement to the shoe with the top panel of down replaced with Timberland’s wheat-colored nubuck. Co-branding appears both on the nubuck and the removable hood which serves the dual purposes of stunting and fighting the cold weather.
Check out the photos above and let us know if you’re planning on picking up the limited goods from Timberland’s website on December 15. In other branded outerwear news, Justin Bieber linked up with Alpha Industries on a “Purpose Tour” tie-in line.
Timberland has enjoyed a momentous year thus far, and only look to strengthen its hold on the fashion industry with yet another notable collaboration. The outdoor specialists look to follow-up such projects with OVO, Supreme WTAPS, Off-White™, and The North Face, amongst others, with a new venture alongside PORTER.
As part of the accessory makers Tanker series, the duo has not only applied a pair of tonal schemes to Timberland’s iconic 6” Boot, but have added some carryall options in each of the two corresponding palettes — consisting of black and olive. Color-coded to each boot, we see here a Daypack and a 2-Way Boston Bag. The collaborative project between Timberland and PORTER will see a release date of December 9 and will be available online.
Keeping with forward-thinking collaborations, J.W. Anderson & Uniqlo are set to release a new collection for the Spring/Summer 2018 season.
Following last month’s teaser, we now have a closer look at Off-White™ and Timberland‘s collaborative release. Of the four forthcoming 6-inch boots — including an all-black and wheat pair — these two bold iterations are the standout of the set.
Both models see the boot’s uppers swathed in an unconventional shade of eye-grabbing color, seen here in luminescent green and orange. Everything from the puffy heel to the chunky rubber sole is executed in tonal shades. The evocative colors are complemented by orange zip-ties recalling Abloh’s “The Ten,”, a tonal nubuck hangtag, and embossed Off-White ™ branding and text. A quartet of laces are included; you’ll have a choice of white, black, orange, or the usual Timberland yellow/black set.
You can actually pre-order the boots for $933 USD at the brand’s official site, they’re set to arrive on March 8, 2018. This rounds out an impressive year of collaborations for Timberland, ranging from joint efforts with brands like Supreme and OVO to PORTER and The North Face.
