FRESH KICKS: Nike Air Force 1 Low Yacht Club "Aqua"/ Ewing Rogue Purple/Teal/ Quai 54 x Nike Air Flight Huarache PRM/ Quai 54 x Nike Air Force 1 High CMFT/ Nike KD VII EXT CNVS QS "Tartan & Polka Dots"
Nike‘s classic Air Force 1 silhouette received a seaside makeover in the latest Yacht Club with an allover aqua wash. Earlier in the year, a khaki and white Yacht Club colorway appeared, but this time around the bold aqua is definitely summer-ready. The canvas is distressed, and matched with true white laces and sole. Head over to Titolo Shop for more information.
Hall-of-Famer Patrick Ewing’s retro Rogue silhouette gets a clean and apropos purple and teal makeover for Summer 2015. Perhaps a nod to the former Knicks great’s current role as the associate head coach of the Charlotte Hornets, the kicks adopt a bold purple upper as teal accents hit the lining and embroidered branding. Finally, a white midsole and speckle detailing cap off the look. Packaged with the signature Ewing basketball hangtag, the Hornets-esque Rogue is set to hit Atlanta’s Wish this Friday, June 5 alongside the likes of the “Frozen Envelope”-inspired 33 Hi.
Quai 54′s celebratory collaboration with Nike and Jordan Brand continues as the storied Parisian streetball tournament and Beaverton-based sportswear giant present a premium edition of the classic Air Flight Huarache. Joining the likes of the Air Jordan 13 Retro Low, Air Jordan XX9, and LeBron Soldier 9, this Quai 54 take on the early ’90s hardcourt high-top boasts a crazy iridescent synthetic upper along with black accents and an icy blue outsole. Like the other Quai 54 drops, these are a European exclusive. Look for the premium Huarache to drop in extremely limited quantities this Saturday, June 6.
Perhaps rounding out this year’s Quai 54 drops and joining silhouettes like the Air Jordan 13 Retro Low, Air Jordan XX9, LeBron Soldier 9 and Air Flight Huarache is the Parisian streetball tournament’s take on the timeless Air Force 1. Appearing here in high-top CMFT fashion, the special release adopts the iridescent detailing of the aforementioned Huarache, pairing it here with contrasting white accents and an icy blue outsole as a map of Paris’ streets highlights the majority of the upper. Like the Huarache, this European exclusive will drop in limited quantities this Saturday, June 6.
Tartan and polka dots collide as Nike Sportswear juxtaposes the two patterns with one another to craft its latest edition of Kevin Durant’s off-court KD VII EXT. A limited edition Quickstrike, the release seems to take cues from the “Birthday” and “People’s Champ” editions of the 2014 NBA MVP’s previous off-court signature, the high-top KD VI NSW Lifestyle. Here, plaid flannel covers the entirety of the toe box and midfoot as dotted-covered grey chambray extends from the quarter panels around the heel. Blue striped lining provides an additional pop as black accents handle the midsole, heel counter, strap, eyelets and laces. Finished with a tried-and-true icy blue rubber outsole, the “Tartan & Polka Dots” edition of the KD VII EXT is due out June 12 for $200 USD at select NSW stockists.
