TECH: Beats Launches New Solo2 Wireless Headphones in iPhone Colors/ Swatch & Art "Superlot" Sells for $6 Million USD at Sotheby's Hong Kong / Richard Mille RM 60-01 Regatta Flyback

Almost a year ago the acquisition of Beats by Dre by Apple was officially announced. It looks like the first projects as one company are finally coming to fruition at the moment. Beats has launched its Solo2 wireless headphones in all three iPhone colors this week. In addition to launching the official pre-order of its new Apple Watch and the new MacBook, it was certainly a busy Friday for Apple. The new Apple iPhone inspired colors join the previously released black, white, red and blue Solo2 versions, adding a new premium look and feel to the line-up. Being able to perfectly match-up your headphones with your smartphone is certainly also a nice detail that will steer people in the Beats by Dre direction that might not have considered it before.

Swatch & Art "Superlot" Sells for $6 Million USD at Sotheby's Hong Kong
Swatch has been making Swatch & Art models since 1983 as collectible watches inspired by pop culture, and has resulted in design contributions from artists, musicians, and fashion designers. Collaborations see artists whose work adorns walls of museums around the world also on people’s wrists thanks to Swatch. This Swatch collection took a whole 25 years to amass and complete, and includes over 5,8000 Swatch & Art models. The collection sold for $6 million USD on Tuesday to a European Institution, after over 30 bids with two other opponents at Sotheby’s Hong Kong.
Richard Mille RM 60-01 Regatta Flyback
Distinguished watchmaker Richard Mille debuts yet another addition to the RM family with a new chronograph: the RM 60-01. The bold-faced watch arrives just in time to commemorate the Voiles de Saint Barth 2015 – widely regarded as the Caribbean’s finest sailing race. The RM 60-01 is executed with competition-grade titanium throughout the caseback, which is accented with blue, rust orange and highlight yellow hues, reminiscent of the competition colors. On the inside, the timepiece features a 360-degree 24-hour rotating disk to inform of worldwide timezones, which work in conjunction with the hour hands to produce precise compass points.
