KICKS: Nike Launches New Colorways of the Air Bo 1 / Nike Air Max Uptempo 97 Inspired by the '96 Spurs / Nike Air Force 1 High Premium "Hot Lava" / Valentino Rock Be Camouflage High-Top Sneaker
Having launched in January 2015 with a premium “Diamond Quest” colorway, the Nike Air Bo 1 subsequently fell off the radar. The latest Bo Jackson signature has resurfaced this month in two new colorways, one in White and Midnight Navy, the other in Black and Atomic Red. The former features a predominantly white leather build, while the latter uses black nubuck construction reminiscent of Nike cross trainers from the Swoosh’s ’90s heyday. Additional details include a perforated vamp, speckled midsole and icy translucent midsole. The black pair has tonal tiger stripes on the toe — a callback to Bo’s Auburn alma mater — to complete the look. The kicks are available now through select Nike Sportswear retailers, including Villa.
Nike has ordered a fresh pair of its Air Max Uptempo 97 model. The latest colorway draws inspiration from the San Antono Spurs 1996 “fiesta” home jerseys. A cushioned white upper gives way to a black half, which extends to the midsole. An icy blue bottom sole adds a touch of flair that nicely complements the sneaker’s colored lining and pink Air Max unit. The Uptempo logo on the heel sports a themed pink hue, finishing the basketball shoe. Oneness is now accepting phone orders for the sneakers, which are priced at $160 USD.
Nike unveils the latest “Hot Lava” rendition to the Nike Air Force 1 High Premium. Boasting a vibrant “Hot Lava” all-over coating throughout, the sneaker is highlighted by a fish scale leather upper, while the Swoosh in lacquered red continues the sneaker’s modern motif. Signature Nike and Air Force 1 branding decorates the back heel patch and lace emblem. A translucent outsole provides a complementary touch to the overall aesthetic. The Nike Air Force 1 High Premium “Hot Lava” is available now at select Nike retailers including Titolo.
Valentino has unveiled its new Rock Be Camouflage high-top sneaker silhouette as a part of its 2015 spring/summer collection. The high fashion shoe model flaunts a premium white leather canvas, sporting fine expert tailoring alongside cream fabric overlays. A white rubber midsole completes the physical construction. Details included a clasped strap, a line of 3D rubber studs around the back heel, and a Valentino logo patch stitched onto the sneaker’s tongue. Retailing for $995 USD, Valentino has stocked a full run of sizes on its webstore.
