NEW KICKS: PUMA by MIHARAYASUHIRO 2015 Spring/Summer MY-83 Desert Boots/ Très Bien x Common Projects 2015 Spring/Summer Achilles/ GREATS Releases the Hirsh Desert Boot Hybrid/ Garbstore x Reebok Classic 2015 Spring/Summer Collection - Part 2
Japanese designer MIHARAYASUHIRO presents the 2015 spring/summer MY-83 Desert Boots for PUMA. As part of MIHARAYASUHIRO’s new collection with PUMA entitled ARMY, which stands for Athletic Rebel Mihara Yasuhiro, the latest MY-83 desert boot combines classical design with modern technology. A rich, black suede upper coats the mid-top formal boot silhouette as a classic PUMA DISC adorns the laceless system, producing a fushion of both classic and modern design aspects. A complementing black rubber outsole finishes the silhouette. The PUMA by MIHARAYASUHIRO 2015 Spring/Summer MY-83 Desert Boots is available now at PUMA’s online store.
Following up on last year’s collaboration, here Trés Bien and Common Projects team up for another iteration of the classic Achilles low-top. Executed in anticipation of warm weather, the deceptively complex silhouette is composed with a full navy cotton canvas upper for breathability and lined at the interior with leather and suede. The minimalist upper is accented with metal eyelets for easy lacing, while a contrasting gum rubber outsole – reminiscent of last year’s outing – finishes off this distinctive release. This special drop also includes a lacebag and alternate laces. Specially crafted in Italy, pick up this release from Trés Bien’s web shop now for $290 USD.
New York-based GREATS Brand is rolling out a new silhouette for the spring, which manages to make a new assertion on a classic. The silhouette, dubbed The Hirsh, is a desert boot hybrid that infuses elements from retro running sneakers. GREATS is the first to acknowledge the silhouette’s roots with Nathan Clark, the innovative British infantryman-turned-designer that ushered the desert boot into mainstream culture. The Hirsh elevates this idea through the use of premium Italian cow suede through the two-panel upper, which is hand-cobbled to a thick EVA midsole and grippy Vibram® gum rubber outsole. Pick up this premium release now from GREATS’ website for an easy $149 USD.
As a follow up to part 1 of its collaboration with London menswear boutique Garbstore, Reebok Classic is presenting a mashup of the Classic Leather and GL 6000 designs in the form of the new CL 6000 silhouette. The CL 6000 features the distinctive “Outside In” styling that has become a trademark of Reebok x Garbstore releases. Specialist stitching and original arch bandages decorate the uppers, with Reebok branding in the form of side panel logos and tongue labels appearing on the inside of the shoe. The Reebok Classic x Garbstore CL 6000 is available now at Garbstore and select Reebok outlets for a price of $125 USD.
